The English Master in International Relations (MIR) students are currently experiencing an exceptionally active academic semester. This news entity summarizes a selection of notable experiences of student engagement with extracurricular activities, with a hope will continue in the upcoming semesters and serve as a source of inspiration for all the Faculty students!

Three of our students—Laura Anna Deme, Marufjon Yakubjonov and Nóra Hanna Csőke—represented our faculty in this year's “Global Administrative Law in Practice” summer program, hosted by EPLO.

Two of our students, Szimonetta Tóth and Dániel Kovács, took part in the 8th EPLO Migration Summer School, which centered on the theme of "Women in International Migration."

Sopuruchukwu Elizabeth Anih, a proud student of our Faculty's International and European Trade and Investment Law LLM Program, showcased her expertise as she represented Bangladesh in the Committee on Environmentally Harmful Subsidies at the Model WTO Conference 2024, held from March 20-27.

The conference's objective, in addition to commemorating the centenary of the Turkish Republic, was to outline the history of Hungarian-Turkish relations and to promote their significance.

The programme provided our students with the opportunity to delve into multifaceted aspects of human rights, fostering an examination of both European and international human rights regulations and safeguards from a diverse range of perspectives.

Three students from our faculty attended this year’s Summer Academy offered by the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) and the International Hellenic University hosted by the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce!

The Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the University of Szeged marked its 150^th anniversary in the academic year 2022/23, with a commemorative celebration on March 31, under the headline “In service of Hungarian legal education for 150 years."

Three students from our Faculty participated in this year’s Migration Summer School offered by EPLO!

Pavlo Burdiak is a second-year Ukrainian PhD student at the University of Szeged Faculty of Law and Political Sciences. He participated in the SZTE-PREZILIMPIA presentation competition and took 2^nd place in the national final. The theme of this year`s competition was “Schools with long history, 21st century education”, and Mr. Burdiak delivered a presentation titled “Online education: an opportunity or a challenge?”
