Between October 14 and 18, you will have the unique opportunity to engage with a wide range of thought-provoking courses and discussions, led by experts from across the globe. You will have the chance to explore critical topics shaping modern legal and political landscapes, from climate finance and multilateral development banks, to the right to a healthy environment, cyber law, and family law from a comparative perspective.
Highlights include sessions on modern criminal law challenges, cyber violence, reproductive rights in a comparative context, and the role of artificial intelligence in criminal law. You will also be able to delve into international legal history, securitization, and the evolving complexities of asymmetrical conflicts.
In addition to these academic discussions, we will also feature a roundtable on Francophone perspectives and a multicultural evening, offering the chance to interact with peers from different cultural backgrounds in an informal setting.
Get ready for an enriching and immersive experience that will broaden your understanding of international legal and political issues!
We look forward to seeing you there!
Please note that available spots are limited to certain ‘
International Week of Criminal Law’ (ICWL) courses
marked with red and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis! As such, there is a
separate Registration Form for these ICWL courses.
As a
closing event to the International Week, a cultural night called "
Soirée interculturelle" will take place at the Francophone University Centre on Friday. Make sure to
register and have lots of fun!
