Thanks to the invaluable ties established by the Centre Universitaire Francophone of the University of Szeged - through the Université Senghor - with key international Francophone institutions, I had the rare privilege of attending the session of the Committee on Economic, Social and Environmental Affairs (APF: French-speaking Parliamentary Assembly) at the Hungarian Parliament.

This experience went far beyond academic enrichment; it was a moment of revelation. Sitting in the very heart of a historic chamber, listening to engaged parliamentarians debate pressing societal challenges, I felt the abstract concepts from my studies come alive with striking clarity and urgency. It was as if I had stepped inside the living pulse of international politics.

To witness the mechanisms of parliamentary diplomacy from so close, and to engage with those shaping the future of the Francophone world, was not only intellectually stimulating, it was profoundly motivating. It gave me a deeper sense of purpose, sharpened my ambition to contribute to global public affairs, and reaffirmed my commitment to building a career rooted in political engagement and social impact.

This opportunity was truly a turning point in my academic and professional journey, it was a personal awakening.
