Eligible Applicants:

• Bachelor's students, who have already successfully completed at least 1 academic year at any higher education institution (HEI),
• Master's or PhD students from any previous HEI.

Awarded time period:

• Up to 10 months for Bachelor's and Master's students,
• Up to 11 months for PhD students.

Amount of scholarship:

• 500 EUR per month - for Bachelor's students,
• 600 EUR per month - for Master's students,
• 700 EUR per month - for PhD students.

Necessary documents:

1. Confirmation letter by the HEI,
2. CV,
3. Letter of Motivation,
4. Proof of Education,
5. Letters of Recommendation,
6. Study Plan,
7. Copy of Language Certificate,
8. Copy of ID or Passport.

! All documents must be translated to Latvian or English before submission.

Eligible Applicants:

International students and academic staff have an opportunity to apply for participation in one of the summer schools in Latvia and receive a scholarship financed by the Latvian government.

Students and academic staff from over 40 eligible countries are welcome to apply. Required documents must be submitted directly to the organizers of the summer schools at the respective higher education institutions, which will notify all applicants about the results of the selection process.

Expenses:

The scholarship funding will be transferred directly to the summer school organizers, so no money will be handed directly to scholarship recipients. Participants are responsible for covering their travel expenses from their country of origin to Latvia, as well as insurance and visa costs.

The Latvian state scholarship for the summer school amounts to 1,000 EUR per person, covering tuition fees and accommodation for the duration of the program.
