Her Q1-ranked article, “Navigating Data Governance Risks: Facial Recognition in Law Enforcement under EU Legislation,” was recently published in the prestigious open-access journal Internet Policy Review.
In her article, Dr. Gültekin-Várkonyi offers an in-depth analysis of the legal and data privacy risks associated with the use of facial recognition technologies in law enforcement in the context of EU legislation.
