A New H2020 Project at the University of Szeged, Faculty of Law and Political Sciences

The European Commission has supported a consortium application – with the membership of the University of Szeged – for a H2020 grant. The project „ReCreating Europe” aims to do research on various timely questions related to digital copyright law. The topics involve research on end users and access to culture, authors’ and performers’

protection, the role of creative industries, the preservation of cultural heritage, and intermediaries/platforms. From the University of Szeged, researchers of the Institute of Comparative Law and Legal Theory, Faculty of Law and Political Sciences will be involved in the project. The members of the consortium – other than the University of Szeged – are the coordinator of the project, the University of Sant’Anna in Pisa, the University of Amsterdam, the University of Glasgow, the Alexander von Humboldt Institute, the Stichting Liber, the National University of Ireland Maynooth, the University of Tartu, the University of Trento and the University of Copenhagen.
