(Peter Mezei) Which university are you coming from and what did you study at home?

(Da Lu) I come from Southwest University of Political Science and Law (SWUPL), China and I did my master degree on law at home.

(PM) Why did you choose Szeged and what are you studying here in Szeged?

(DL) Firstly, because of its prestige on education in Europe; secondly, before I came to Szeged, some friends of mine introduced this city of sunshine to me, its perfect size and beauty attracted me. I am doing my PhD study in Faculty of Law and Political Sciences and specialize in legal history and comparative constitutional law.

(PM) What are your plans for the future after you graduate in Szeged?

(DL) Following my graduation from University, I would like to find a postdoctoral program in Europe and then come back to China and find a teaching position in the university.

(PM) What kind of memories would you like to bring home from Szeged?

(DL) I still remembered the very first day when I arrived in Szeged. It's a Sunday, only a few people were wandering in the street. As a Chinese, this kind of scenario is quite rare happened in China. I bought the tram ticket and asked the clerk in the ticket office how to say thank you in Hungarian, she said "Köszönöm". Wow, what a difficult language! Bus No. 69 took me and my giant luggage to the dormitory, no air-conditioning fan was even there, I opened the window and let the breeze blow. How refreshing it is. This is my first memory of Szeged and I would like share it with my friends in China.
