The Dean of the Faculty of Law al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Professor Daulet Baideldinov, and the Head of the Department of Civil Law, Professor Tynybekov Serikkaly visited Szeged on July 15, 2016.

The delegation was hosted by the Dean of the Szeged Law School, Professor Elemér Balogh, the Associate Dean for International Affairs, Péter Mezei, as well as Junior Lecturer Benedek Tóth, who has held the academic contact with the Kazakh colleagues. The parties introduced their institutions to each other, and negotiated over the possible ways of cooperation, which include doctoral studies under the co-supervision of professors from the two institutions, summer university programs, students' and teachers' mobility, as well as joint publications. The parties evidenced their interest in the partnership with the signing of an Agreement of cooperation.
